UNDERSTANDING AND WORKING WITH EATING DISTRESS

Suitable for staff working in any role who wish to acquire an understanding of eating disorders and how to respond to someone who is experiencing eating distress. We also address the significant relationship between eating disorders and self-harm. This course is also suitable for informal carers including family and friends.
We also offer a more advanced course suitable for staff who wish to develop a more in-depth understanding of the issues that are relevant to their service and its clients group.
All of our courses draw on current research, models of practice and professional and academic knowledge. However, harm-ed training also incorporates the invaluable expertise and insight that comes from the personal experiences of all our trainers.
We deliver our courses in a wide range of formats - please see below. If you can't see the training course you are looking for, contact us and we will work with you to develop the right training package for your service. |
