harm-ed is a 'not
for profit', user-led oranisation based in the NorthWest
which provides training for all services and individuals who
have an interest in self-harm and/or general mental health
harm-ed was established in 2006
by Clare Shaw & Terri Shaw, who both have extensive experience
of teaching and training, and who have spoken & published
widely on self-harm and related issues. Clare & Terri
now head a team of six trainers, all of who have direct user
or carer experience of self-harm, as well as backgrounds in
academic research and/or professional practice. For more details

Since 2006, harm-ed have worked
with a wide range of services, including education, criminal
justice, housing, substance misuse, mental health and youth
services. All harm-ed training is suitable for individuals
and oganisations, and can be tailored to suit the specific
needs of any service.
